By Road.

The farm is situated ¼ mile from the A1081 on the north side of Harpenden.

If approaching from the M1 northbound take junction 9. At the end of the sliproad take the second exit off the R.bout signed Kinsbourne Green and follow this narrow road until you arrive at a mini R.bout opposite the Green restaurant. Turn right, heading towards Harpenden. Take the first turning on the left after ¼ mile signed Thrales End Lane.
After another ¼ mile the road takes a sharp right hand bend, just before this corner you will see a vintage blue plough by the side of a new entrance, turn left onto the new road and pull up to the electric gates which will open automatically.

If approaching from the M1 southbound take junction 10.

Take the A1081 heading towards Harpenden and St Albans. After about 1.5-2 miles you will come to a mini roundabout with the The Green restaurant on your left, carry straight on towards Harpenden. Take the first turning on the left after ¼ mile signed Thrales End Lane.

By Train

Harpenden station is found on the Thameslink line and is only 5 minutes from the farm. Harpenden is reached by taking a train departing from London St. Pancras and is only 30 minutes away. For further details  www.thameslink.co.uk.

A taxi from Harpenden station will cost about £4-£5. Most taxi drivers know where Thrales End Farm is.  Failing this, ask him/her to head towards Luton on the A1081.  Take the 2nd right after the traffic lights by the Old Bell pub. The road is called Thrales End Lane. After  ¼ mile the road takes a sharp right hand bend, just before this corner you will see a vintage blue plough by the side of a new entrance, turn left onto the new road and pull up to the electric gates which will open automatically.
